Welcome to Age of Empires Online Tournament Page!

The tournament will start when the number of players will reach 30. As a start of the tournament, there will be 5 groups of 6 players. Each of these 6 players will play once against other 5. The first 2 of each group, who have the most wins, will lead to the second round. So we will have 10 players in the second round. These players will be matched in 2 groups of 5. At the third round every one of 4 players (first 2 of each group in the second round) will do their best against the other 3 by playing only one game with each. The final tournament match will be between the first 2. As a result, the winner will be the champion and receive the honour of being a priest by having a PRIEST thumb next to his/her nick. The players will be matched by me and the other gamemaster.I will send mail to all players on the play list to give them information about the latest page updates, match periods and the tournament starts.

There will be the same number of divisions as the no of land units in AOE and the divisions will have the exact names of the units (Centurion, Axeman...) The players will be members of divisions according to their scores they got as a result of their previous tournament matches against their opponents. When counting a player's score, the wins minus the loses will be his/her score. The important thing is that you try your best not to lose a game because it is as important as a win. A win is 100 pts and a lose is 50 pts. If you win a match against a champion (Priest thumb next to his nick) you will get 200 pts instead of 100pts. I'm thinking to upgrade the scoring system to a more advanced one when the registered players exceed 50. Currently, there isn't any division because nobody have played a game and have a win/lose. After the first tournament ending, I will make up the divisions and place every player to a division according to their scores. In the division pages, there will be player nicks, E-mails and ICQ no's. For now, there is the player list available only. You can practice with other players, until the tournament starts, by deciding on a suitable date sending mail or using ICQ.

The players can improve their game play by playing against each other frequently and reading the strategy guides & strategy tips. The link below is a real good place to learn more about Age of Empires multiplayer game strategies. The place is updated weekly so that the players can have more information about the strategies their opponents choose . Have a look!

The players can contact each other by E-Mail or ICQ. The fastest and easiest way to meet your opponent is ICQ and will help if you install it. You can download ICQ from the link below.

A patch is available for Age of Empires. The patch upgrades your current version to V1.0a and improves gameplay. The players must have the same version installed to play against each other. The patch makes the multiplayer games more stable. You can download it from here.
